Diversity and imaginative design are a major feature in Waystone’s portfolio of civil engineering and property development projects.  Waystone has invested in land regeneration projects strategically placed near to motorway junctions having excellent communication links.

Current projects include:

  • 335 acres at Glasshoughton, near Castleford, West Yorkshire - J32, M62.  Currently the development of the final phases including the 25 acre Super G zone for housing and industry is under way.
  • The redevelopment of 100 acres of surplus land surrounding the recently closed Hatfield colliery near Doncaster.
  • The development of Unity Life a 120 acre housing site at Stainforth incorporating a Marina.
  • The development of the Unity zones adjacent to J5 of the M18, a 400 acre project including warehouse, commercial, residential and town mix uses.
  • The reclamation and regeneration of the former Riddochhill Colliery to create Lothian Gateway a 100 acre logistics park at J4 of the M8 close to Bathgate. This project is being undertaken by Hall Construction Services and in association with West Lothian Council, with Waystone providing marketing and property development support.
  • The mixed use development of 100 acres on the Shipley Lakeside site in Derbyshire in partnership with Derbyshire County Council.
  • The promotion and planning of the development of a 300 acre mixed use strategic site at Clowne in the district of Bolsover.
